We are proud to be a Founding Member of Tastebuds Collective, reflecting South Norfolk Council’s commitment to the local food and drink sector.
South Norfolk is the base for many food and drink growers and innovative processors, contributing to the significant agri-industry sector in the region. Businesses range from vineyards to hydroponic farms, from arable and livestock producers to food and drink processors, and more. Crucial to their success is finding finance, markets, suppliers and buyers for their outputs. Equally important for effective innovation, is gaining knowledge and connecting with institutions offering skills and research functions such as the University of East Anglia and Norwich Research Park.
Tastebuds Collective, in its previous test form as the Food Innovation Cluster of the Broadland Food Innovation Centre project based on the Food Enterprise Park near Norwich, has already proved to be effective. Our aim in supporting Tastebuds Collective, with funding through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, is to help ensure that all businesses associated with our agricultural and food and drink processing sector have access to a valuable network.
