As we step into November, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the incredible accomplishments of Tastebuds Collective over the past month. October has been a whirlwind of connections, collaborations, and creative endeavours, and we’re thrilled to share our highlights!
Connecting at NutrEvent in Lille
One of our standout moments this month was attending the NutrEvent in Lille. This event was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage directly with food and nutrition professionals. We connected with leading academics and industry innovators, paving the way for exciting new collaborations in research, innovation, and product development. The face-to-face interactions not only strengthened existing relationships but also sparked new ideas that we’re eager to explore further. Read more here.
Inspiring Storytelling Workshop
We had the pleasure of hosting an inspiring storytelling and brand writing workshop led by the talented Pier. Held at the beautiful Food Museum, this workshop was designed for food and drink businesses looking to refine their brand narrative and attract the right customers. Participants left with fresh perspectives and actionable insights on how to effectively communicate their unique stories. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited to continue offering resources that empower our members.
Launching Our Deakin University Collaboration
We proudly kicked off our collaboration with the University of East Anglia and Deakin University, a project that allows Tastebuds to facilitate consultancy projects for students with four selected food and drink businesses. This initiative not only enriches the students' learning experience but also provides invaluable insights to our member businesses. The response has been fantastic, and we anticipate more projects like this in the future, further enhancing our paid membership offerings. All paid members are able to apply for such opportunities, you can sign up here.
Active Participation in the Agri-Food Community
Our very own Alex has been actively attending Agri-Food Industry Council meetings, ensuring that Tastebuds remains engaged with the broader agri-food community. By meeting with applicants for agri-food launchpad bids, Alex is not only supporting new initiatives but also gathering insights that can benefit our members. Staying connected with industry trends and opportunities is crucial for our growth and relevance, and Alex is doing a stellar job on this front. We are currently supporting with five agri-food launchpad applications, with more on the horizon. Get in touch if you're interested.
Welcoming Our First Paid Members
Perhaps the most exciting news of all: we welcomed our first paid members this month! We are thrilled to see so many businesses eager to join the Tastebuds family. Our commitment is to provide tailored collaborations, research opportunities, and workshops that meet their specific needs.
