East Suffolk Council is committed to working with industry, encouraging investment, and supporting enterprise to ensure residents can both benefit from and contribute to a thriving local economy.
With funding contributions from the SZC Business Support Fund and SZC Tourism Fund, East Suffolk Council has awarded The Tastebuds Collective a grant to support its valuable work with food and drink businesses across East Anglia.
The funding will be used for food and drink businesses based in East Suffolk who will benefit from an enhanced business support programme designed to strengthen skills, product development, and business growth, while supporting local employment.

The twelve-month programme includes:
- Business Bootcamps – Small groups of business owners will receive hands-on training focused on growth, scaling, logistics, sales, branding, and operations.
- Networking and Meet the Buyer Events – Bringing together the food and drink community for topical discussions, problem-solving, and opportunities to pitch products to buyers.
- Academic Collaboration Event – Connecting business owners with academics to explore opportunities in applied research, innovation, sustainability, and embedded student projects.
- Mentorship Programme - Meet Tastebuds' team of mentors at networking events to get support to overcome challenges you may be experiencing in your business, Tastebuds' mentors cover every aspect of the food and drink supply chain from branding to logistics.
